ok...i know matt is playing in Buffalo as well, and Hamilton is only an hour away or so. bands skip towns for many reason:sometimes it is cheaper for a band/person to do it that way. many big acts skip buffalo ny, and go to rochester to play and vice versa. i love to travel to shows, and stuff. it makes the concert more meaningful and fun.

I am a Pearl Jam from way back. Seen them live a number of times. Best show I ever seen was Buffalo 2003: 33 songs total, 3 encores, 3.5 hours. I really think Eddie Vedder is one of the best lyrics writers also. EDIT: Mike McCready is one of the most underrated guitar players also.

In the US, where I am from, indie bands fly under the radar, oh sure there are a few that break out, but the rest are left to fend for themselves. Not alot of the record stores carry indie music at all. I am glad I live in a place that has a number of indie records shops. But of the indie bands that have made, people realized how good that music was, and maybe later on, more bands like that will break out into the mainstream. I am getting sick of top 40 radio, and the crap that record companies push out on people.
