there is a crude version of the hub website up right now. here is the link: http://www.freepgs.com/penguinsix/mgllhub/index.htm you can now register on there, if it says anything after registering, ignore it as it works fine. So once again heres the info: Please pin if needed Crusader. Hub Address: mattgood-limblifter.no-ip.info [ Registration is required! - Click here ] Here's a little FAQ I put together for the DC Hub. Important words are in bold. I hope this helps anyone with their questions, before they're asked. I'll update this from time to time if there is any confusion. Q: What's a Direct Connect Hub, and how do I use it? A: Direct connect hubs are a new breakthrough in P2P file sharing. You start by downloading a client (DC++ or modified DC++ are the best ones to use), then you configure it (very simple), and you connect to the hub address by clicking on the 'public hubs' icon in the toolbar. Enter the hub address where it says 'manual connect address'. You can also add it as a favourite, and set it to automatically connect everytime the client is opened. Once you connect to the hub, follow the registration procedure, then reconnect, and double click someone's name to view their shared files. Choose a file or folder you wish to download, and double-click it to send it to your default downloads folder, or you may right-click and choose a different location. Example * Click here to register [ Updated! ] * Download and install the DC++ Client * Configure downloads, uploads, IP settings * Connect to the hub address [ MG Hub ] * Double click someones username for a file list * Double click a file or folder to download it More information: click here * Note: There is no longer a share size limit, but I will still be kicking people who aren't sharing any Matthew Good files at all. Remember, this is an MG hub about sharing, so to be fair, please share. It's really not hard to do. Updated February 3rd, 2005 In addition it is cool if you need to decode the flac files to mp3s because we understand that people have ipods and also not all the space on the computer, BUT DO NOT SHARE MP3S OF ANY 2005 LIVE SHOWS OR ANY OTHER OLD SHOWS WHICH HAVE RECENTLY BECOME AVAILABLE. The admins (myself, pintosack, penguin, chad, sour29, and gursky) check often to make sure this rule is followed. Thank you for your patence and enjoy.

Ya its on the flip side of the awesome artwork from AOB, I prefer the artwork side tho.
-
Actually I've heard the first verse of Carmelina acoustic. It was thrown in with the fine art of falling apart when he did that live in 2002. Great show.
-
haha you might have seen him talking to me for about 10 mins, Pat and I go way back... ...last fall in Hamilton.
-
We're working on getting the registration site back up, by then the tour should be up.
-
I always wondered why Catastrophe wasn't on rooms, as even before the Ottawa Acoustic show, he had done it several times acoustic while touring.
-
Pat just rules to start with.
-
Ive got one for BM and AOB.
-
I love the leafs, but Ottawa is taking it this year.
-
you might have to kiss some major ass to get him to send you mp3s tho.
-
Even if you were around here, you likely wouldn't know about it, it's natively maintained by the double life board. The website to register should be back up soon.
-
My guess would be windows media player.
-
We're not saying don't convert them to mp3, thats your preference. Our beef is people converting them to mp3 and sharing them in that format on here, a torrent, the hub, an FTP, anything like that. You want them for personal use, ya convert go for it just dont post or share it publicly or the tapers will get annoyed and just not share them anymore. It sucks and no one wants it to come to that but it may happen.

I would have thought it was a seperate synth since you can clearly hear the bass guitar underneath the main focus. However I suppose maybe because of it being through a pedal, then I guess you can configure it to still have a clean bass sound run through as well.
-
There are none. The only thing that comes close is the CBC stuff from 97.
-
It's a synth! Rich just plays underneath it if you're paying attention during the show.
-
I've never seen it in 12 shows, it bothers me I love that song.
-
We did, it's called the hub, does no one pay attention? And no it's not down we changed address like 4-6 months ago tis all and since there were no shows for people to look for, no one bothered to check out all the news about unfortunatly having to reregister for it. Check the double life for info on it, the registration site is temporarly down however so you'll have to wait a bit, it won't kill you.

Trading live mp3s for NF dollars, for shame.
-

I'm hoping that's the case. I would just be really dissapointed if someone took it upon themselves to not only send in something they didn't record or were not assocated in helping to improve which is what I add to it, or besides the fact that about 200 other people now already have it.
-
I'm glad you're enjoying the unpolished version of the recording, I guess since you didn't need to wait to get it all fixed up before spreading it all around the internet I guess I don't have to rush to finish the entire show. Way to spoil it before we gave it to Matt first.
