maybe i should leave a story since i did start this post. about 2-3 years ago, i was uh.....making out....with my boyfriend (now ex) in my jeep and we were blaring MGB when in the middle of Symbolistic White Walls i heard a loud bang. i turned down the music and heard a man yelling. well, it was a cop. we were in a park when we got the urge, and apparently our music could be heard across the park and some jerk called the cops. it was like 2:00 in the afternoon, and the officer thought it was funny. i didn't think it was so funny....well, till a couple months later. Now i think it's "fucking" hilarious! cheers.

the music being played is the MGB but the singer is Danielle French. (it's a bonus song on "history teacher" cd1) not sure if it's released by her as well or on earlier MGB stuff. look up the demo tapes he made before LOTGA and maybe it's there too.

i've heard MG say that he doesn't explain songs, cause they mean different things to every person, and he likes it that way. (i guess his meanings are too personal to share) he did say that the break up of MGB is in "truffle pigs" that was the only song i've ever heard him talk about. (if i remember correctly it was from mmbio.)i'll watch it tonight again and then i can accuratley quote him about "truffle pigs".

they are spelt different. one is "endsong" the other is "End Song".

i didn't purchase them, it was a gift. (steve codling gave my buddy and his bro copies years ago) i understand they are different songs, i do have them both. i was just curious if someone knew why they were titled the same (or if it had been a misprint). i now know it wasn't a misprint, but does anyone know why they are titled the same.

sorry now you have me confused. do you have the original tapes? if so are they different songs (as they are on HT)? or are they the same song just different lengths?

it's not a lie. it exists whether matt good likes it or not. he's dealt with it. anyways so i guess the answer is "yes there are 2 endsongs, both from different albums".

Has anyone else noticed that there are 2 versions of "endsong" on the history teacher album? were they supposed to have different names, and it is a misprint on the album? or is it supposed to be that way? i have had the album for 3 years (i listen to it religiously, at least 3x every week) and i just noticed this. (it is printed really small for the first cd as one word and much bigger and in 2 words on the second cd). they are 2 completely different songs. help anyone? (picture of my confusion) i know you can't read the first one but it says (under a magnifying glass) "4. endsong" in handwriting. the second pic you can see. both pics are the same in size, i didn't change it.

ok. i hate pics of myself. especially where everyone can see them. but i guess it's for a good cause. lol *i am so cheesy, i have them all framed on my wall. (the first pic isn't scanned on to my computer yet, so it's a picture of the picture.) if there ever was a fire i'd grab the pictures and my "history teacher album". lol
