i enjoy genesis and, except for the tarzan stuff, i like a lot of phil collins' work (mostly the older stuff).

i've heard reports of something like 8 million in losses this year as a result of no late fees... whether or not that warrants a bankruptsy i don't know.

looks like there's another victoria show slated for the day after this one...

yeah, ok ;) hey they're both decent bands... they don't exactly "suck like whoa". if that were true i'm there wouldn't be so many bands that try to emulate their style.

i too, enjoy their new one... i love the new video with david cross that guy is brilliant.

yeah, i think both bands are great. i'm pretty much a fan of everything ben releases, although i'm not so keen on some of the new album. i guess it all comes down to a matter of taste... in which, you must be lacking.

yeah i agree, the album has a few good ones but the lyrics throughout are pretty aweful. i'd say the first and the last songs are the best.

yeah me too. this is good stuff but i think my understanding of guitar isn't establised enough for complex questions... Yam, what about any tips? are there any tricks you found along the way that you feel improved your skills as a guitarist/musician? care to share any? (assuming you play guitar)

ted leo - counting down the hours

i just rented this movie the other night after hearing it described as kill bill meets looney toons. it was great. had some top notch effects and a soundtrack that would give kill bill a run for its money. anyways if you can handle reading subtitles, this movie is definately worth a rental.

i'm seeing ted leo and the pharmacists on sept 3and checking out matthew good on the sept 24th... i think it may lead to a music overload for september. there's just way too much happening in one month.

i think the new cd is out in october. i got it a couple of days ago when it first leaked... its definately good but not like "you forgot it in people" but who knows maybe after a few more listens it'll grow on me.
