someone put the high quality version up in the lounge. it sounds waaay better then the one in the store. i'll update the one in the store with this one.

it's also been in the nf store since it came out! and yeah, the mono one is the only one that came out. one of our guys tried to remaster it though but i can't remember if that's the one i put in the store. edit: nvm, there's a higher quality version.

this is similar to what i built recently. Gigabyte GA-P55M-UD2 Intel i5 750 G-Skill 2x2GB DDR3-1333 Kit Radeon HD4870 1GB it's straight from the somethingawful forums. don't forget to pricematch it and get a case, keyboard, mouse, monitor, etc. there is no printer port for a p55 and only one plug for a keyboard or mouse. the other has to be a usb.

do you guys all have record players? i don't have one yet i see a small but rising trend in vinyls. i don't get it.

A lot of that stuff in that article is actually from this site I think. Two of our members do have the tapes though and I think those might have been digitized if you're interested, but I think that the CDs "for sale" now are just the mp3s burned to CD. edit: the tape was released in 1997, not the CD. (At least that's what I remember...) Sleep, The Jangolier, and William Sits in Avalon in the NF Store were taken from the tapes directly but they're not lossless. Although, I don't know why anyone would want a wav or flac of these demos, honestly. lol

they were never cds. they were always on cassette. if you find a cd, it's just the mp3s burned onto a cd.
